It’s coming: The 2018 Auto Remarketing Canada Conference is just a few short months away. We’re in the process of updating a few things here and there, but for now, here’s a sneak preview to catch you up to speed.
For one thing, check out our new logo!
Isn’t it beautiful? Isn’t it glorious? Don’t you just love that stylized CN Tower — spare yet instantly recognizable? It’s truly a work of art.
You’ll see that design and others like it as part of the fresh look we’re debuting at this year’s conference.
We’re also currently overhauling our conference website as of this writing, so stay tuned for a new layout at any moment! You might even catch this post after it’s already done.
While the conference has received a facelift, we’re retaining the format that worked so well last year. Again, we’re organizing our speaker and workshop content into three separate tracks: Retail, Remarketing and Auto Finance. In the two days of this compact conference, those three tracks will cover the growing demand for certified pre-owned vehicles, automotive retail technology, forecasting trends for used supply, changing automotive finance and subprime lending, digital marketing and more. Exciting, no?
Speaking of things we’re excited for, while we have your ear, we’d like to spotlight the third annual Women & Automotive Canadian Leadership Forum. Scheduled right on the heels of ARC Con on March 29 and also held at the Westin Harbour Castle, this one-day forum celebrates revolutionary women leaders in the automotive industry and explores practical approaches for advancing women into leadership roles. It’s a day chock-full of listening, learning and networking, bursting with possibilities for establishing influential connections and even sparking mentor-mentee relationships. Nominations for the Profiles in Leadership honourees are open, so if you know of any real kick-butt ladies you’d like to see recognized, email Auto Remarketing Canada Senior Editor Joe Overby by Dec. 8 with their name, company and position, email address and the leadership qualities that make them special.
Finally, if you’re truly ambitious — if you consider yourself a mover and shaker, decision-maker, one with something to say — we invite you to send in an application to speak at ARC Con 2018. We’ve built our reputation on providing some of the freshest, most valuable and timely content in the industry, and we rely on our speakers to hone that edge. So bring us something novel!
We’re already quite hyped about the coming year’s conference, and we hope to see you at the Westin Harbour Castle in March!
