Each year, Auto Remarketing Canada Conference receives support from numerous North American businesses and organizations involved in the automotive industry. They exhibit in the Expo Hall, provide speakers and many sponsor everything from awards luncheons to the pens and notepads you use throughout your two days in the Westin Harbour Castle. We could not be Canada’s leading used-car event without them.
In this week’s post, we’d like to recognize the industry partners who offer assistance for our conference.
AMVOQ (Association des Marchands de Véhicules d’Occasion du Québec/Quebec Used-Car Dealers Association)
Founded in 1989 by used-car dealers, AMVOQ is a non-profit organization represented by over 1,300 associates in all regions of Quebec. AMVOQ’s objectives include defending the rights and interests of its affiliates, representing its constituents with help from public and governmental bodies and promoting the professionalism of all chapters. Also, AMVOQ members honour a code of professional ethics ensuring quality customer service and respect for consumers’ rights.
CFLA (Canadian Finance & Leasing Association)
The CFLA represents the asset-based financing, equipment and vehicle-leasing industry in Canada, the second-largest provider of debt financing in the nation. CFLA’s more than 200 company members range from manufacturers’ finance companies and independent leasing companies to banks and insurance companies. As such, CLFA members are key partners with many Canadian businesses and consumers, since asset-based financing touches virtually every business and consumer in Canada.
IARA (International Automotive Remarketers Alliance)
As the name might suggest, the IARA assists, educates and shares knowledge across the remarketing industry in every corner of the globe. The IARA facilitates standardization of processes within the industry, develops performance benchmarking for the membership, shares information on legislative and regulatory issues impacting the remarketing industry and provides a forum for the sharing of ideas, knowledge, agenda and best practices.
NAF (National Automotive Finance Association)
The NAF provides a forum for the exclusive benefit of the non-prime auto-finance industry, addressing the challenges of sales finance companies, dealers and third party service providers. NAF offers certification courses in consumer credit and compliance, standards of financial reporting, regional workshops and numerous events throughout the year. The association also publishes the Non-Prime Times, a bi-monthly magazine geared toward their members, as well as their unique annual non-prime auto-finance survey to track growth and changes in the non-prime industry.
We thank and salute our industry partners for helping us put on our event and ensuring a healthy, ethical used-car market throughout Canada.
