Auto Remarketing Canada is less than three weeks away now (can you believe it?!), and we are making our final plans for the event. Have you checked out our latest agenda and attendee lists? The agenda, barring a few last-minute tweaks here and there, is finalized, but the attendee list continues to grow as more and more attendees are realizing that time is running out to get registered. Make sure your name is on the list; register now!

If you haven’t had a chance to take a look at the agenda yet, you’ll notice when you have a look that one of the key elements on the AR Canada agenda are our workshop groups. There are four groups of concurrent workshops on the schedule; two sets on Monday and two on Tuesday.

I wanted to take a minute to highlight the speakers in just one session — the 11 a.m. group on Monday. This workshop group, sponsored by RVI Group, includes a variety of sessions, with a little something for everyone.

For those looking for data and market forecasts, check out RVI Group’s Rene Abdalah’s presentation, “Canadian Used Car Market Forecast,” to be held in the general session room, Metro East.

If you want some insight into generating solid web traffic to your dealership site, you’ll find answers in a workshop titled “Extreme Targeting: How to Generate Great Retail Used Traffic to Your VDP’s,” presented by Shane Hambly with e-Dealer.ca in Metro West.

A session on inbound marketing from Kevin Gordon at Convertus, titled “Win the Internet: Inbound Marketing 101” will be held in the Queens Quay workshop room and is designed to give you a leg up on your competition when it comes to generating quality leads with your online presence.

Also at 11 a.m. on Monday is a workshop from the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) in the Frontenac workshop room, presented by Copart’s Steve Macaluso.

Also, don’t forget to make your hotel reservations! We were able to extend our conference rate of CA$179/night through March 10, but that’s less than two weeks away. If you need a hotel room and you don’t have a reservation, take a minute to reserve your room now! I’d hate for you to miss out on our exclusive rate!

See you in three weeks!
