It’s an exciting week around these parts (the Cherokee Media Group office) — as well as for anyone planning to attend Auto Remarketing Canada 2019.
Yep, Early Bird registration for Cherokee Media Group’s Canadian events kicks off today, Jan. 7. Save $100 dollars by registering before Feb. 21 for Canada’s Used Car Conference. And then registration goes up even more if you wait to register on site at AR Canada 2019, scheduled for March 19 and 20 in Toronto at the Westin Harbour Castle.
So, what will the Early Bird rate of $895 get you at Auto Remarketing Canada? Two-days packed full of sales training, consulting, workshops covering auto finance, remarketing, used and new-car sales, and … did we mention training already?
Dealer and sales training and consulting is incredibly valuable, but it can often be expensive and time-consuming. Auto Remarketing Canada takes the obstacles out of training, bringing together a group of the industry’s top consultants to offer insight, tips and actionable advice to AR Canada 2019 attendees. In fact, March 19, the first day of the event, will be dedicated wholly to dealer training.
Need some names to convince you attending AR Canada 2019 is worth your time? Don’t worry, I have plenty:
- Toronto-based Alan Dickie, sales training expert and keynote speaker
- Jonathan Dawson, founder and president of sales training company Sellchology
- Andrew Thai, CEO at Motoinsight
- Michael Cirillo, host of the Dealer Playbook podcast

Our lineup will include three different tracks to choose from, depending on your auto profession: Retail, Remarketing & Fleet and Auto Finance. March 20 will also feature keynotes and workshops from leading experts across the industry, including already on the docket for the event — Ryan Robinson, auto research leader at Deloitte.
Don’t forget to nominate leading young professionals for Auto Remarketing Canada’s Remarketing’s Under 40 awards program.
It is our hope that Auto Remarketing Canada 2019 will continue the event’s legacy of offering key takeaways for our attendees and their respective auto businesses. And we expect this year will bring even more auto professionals together than last March.
If content isn’t enough to convince you to register for AR Canada. Let’s take a look at some of the stats from last year’s event, so you will know the caliber of professional that will be attending with you.
Of the over 500 attendees at Auto Remarketing Canada 2018, the highest percentage of attendees were dealers and dealer principals at 37 percent. Next up were senior managers and managers, at 28 percent. Following were C-level execs and senior directors and directors, tied for 11 percent.
Industry segments represented at last year’s event included dealers, OEMs, lenders, auctions, service providers and more.
Attendees at AR Canada 2019 will be privy to not only educational sessions, curated workshops, dealer training and more, but the event will also feature numerous networking opportunities (and you saw our attendee make-up; decision makers abound!), awards ceremonies and ample celebration time via our two receptions.
