Ultimately, what makes Auto Remarketing Canada successful is the speakers, attendees, sponsors and supporters that combine to create the event that brings all sectors of the auto remarketing industry together. This includes dealers, auto auctions, lenders, digital marketers and more. That’s why the team at AR Canada has decided to shift the dates of our 2020 event from June 17-18 to September 15-16 — once again at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto.
AR Canada has been following the latest developments, travel restrictions and risks associated with COVID-19, and responding to guidance from health experts and government leaders, made the necessary arrangements to ensure the safety of our speakers, attendees and team.
“We stand with the auto industry as we work together to navigate this ‘new normal’ in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the interest of our loyal attendees and supporters, we have moved the AR Canada annual event later in the year to allow for the crisis to subside, and travel restrictions to ease,” said Bill Zadeits, president of Cherokee Media Group and chair of the Auto Remarketing Canada conference.
“We look forward to convening and addressing the future of the Canadian auto remarketing industry in Toronto later this year,” he added.
This follows a stream of auto events being rescheduled, including organizers of the Conference of Automotive Remarketing postponing the 2020 CAR Conference in Las Vegas, and the American Recovery Association moving the North American Repossessors Summit to the beginning of October.
All registrations, sponsorships and speakers for the Auto Remarketing Canada Conference will convey the new dates of Sept. 15-16. In the case of any scheduling conflicts, Auto Remarketing Canada will work with impacted individuals and companies to smooth challenges as much as possible.
AR Canada Early Bird Registration rates extended through August 21!
All AR Canada hotel reservations made within the original AR Canada block will be automatically canceled. If you had a reservation, no need to call to cancel. We will be in touch shortly with a new link for reservations for the September dates.
Marilu McQuilkin, senior director, events & marketing at Cherokee Media Group, said, “Our team has extensive experience in the conference industry, which allows us to be flexible and react quickly to events beyond our control. With this experience at hand, we have been navigating the COVID-19 pandemic to the best of our abilities and have found the 2020 date that we think is most suitable for our audience and location.”
The Call for Speakers for AR Canada 2020 is open through June 15, And the event is already well on its way to securing its top speakers for the year. Already confirmed for this year’s event, are:

Zadeits said, “We will continue to follow the situation and corresponding mandates with careful attention to ensure a successful, safe event for all involved.
